TV comic Rik Mayall has spoken for the first time since his quadbike crash - to complain about his doctors.
Wife Barbara knew the 39 year old joker was recovering when he said: "Why are those bastards always sticking needles into me?!"
Mrs Mayall has been at her husband's bedside since the accident.
She said "Rik is awake and walking about and his memory is returning. I feel like we have him back."
