This could certainly use improvement should Gigabyte choose to redesign the notebook in the near future. Our test unit is equipped with the latter and this is certainly a more practical resolution compared to the QHD p display on the Razer Blade Subjectively, we can observe no obvious issues as texts and images appear very sharp.
There are some slight color grains that may become visible if on the maximum brightness setting while displaying a White background, though this is minor and a common phenomenon on matte displays. Slight to moderate backlight bleeding is visible around the corners that are not noticeable when browsing or word processing. Dim ambient lighting and dark content will accentuate the bleeding.
